Verizon must be getting update happy, as the Motorola Devour is scheduled to receive an OTA update tomorrow bringing software version CALAND_X_01.15.10 to your device. Unfortunately, this is not Android 2.1 , but it is bringing some improvements and enhancements to your Devour.
Improvements:
- Better V Cast video on-demand live streaming capabilities
- Updates over-the-air notice screens
- Overall voicemail improvements
- Streamlined contacts and messaging contact history functions
- Optimized 3G in marginal coverage areas
- Support for international domains in yahoo email user IDs
Enhancements:
- Instantly know the city and state of incoming and outgoing calls and use reverse look up for mobile numbers with the preloaded CityID application.
