Sony Ericsson is counting down the release of something spectacular, a little trip to their website will show a giant countdown clock. Sources are speculating it to be the release of the Xperia X10. Does that name ring any bells? It should… This past March, the Xperia X10 was announced to the world. When we saw it then, the X10 was running Android 1.6, and sources are saying that is still the case. All surprises aside, the excitement will die down fast if the phone is released running Android 1.6 with no hope of an update any time soon. All other aspects of the hardware are ready to compete with phones recently released such as Droid X, Evo 4g, and Droid Incredible. More information will be available as it is released.
