Bell’s HTC Legend Comes To An End

The AMOLED shortage for HTC has taken a fatal turn claiming Bell’s HTC Legend. While Bell’s HTC Legend is still showing availability, apparently you can’t actually purchase the device. The image above shows Bell’s internal communication which states:

“due to ongoing supply constraints from the manufacturer, the HTC Legend for Bell is effective immediately being discontinued”

Bell goes on to say:

“clients who are interested in the HTC Legend should be redirected to Bell’s terrific line-up of Android smartphones”

Virgin Mobile is still offering the HTC Legend, so maybe Bell has simply given up on this device. Virgin has just up’d the price of the Legend from $79 to $99 on a 3yr service agreement, so it looks like this they’ll continue to host the HTC Legend.
