Google has now made it easier and faster to access your Google Voice application by making available two new widgets. We first learned of the widgets when the G2 system dump turned up, but Google has updated their Android Market application allowing for everyone to get in on the time saving action.
The two widgets offer an inbox shortcut along with a setting widget to quickly change settings without ever leaving the homescreen. The four new settings features include:
- Go to inbox
- Compose a message
- Change call settings: use for all calls, do not use for calls, international calls only and ask for every call.
- Do not disturb toggle switch
For those that lifted the Google Voice apk from the system dump, you might want to update the app officially to get the latest version 0.4.1.26.
