Following the T-Mobile press release officially uncovering the G2, Best Buy Mobile has kicked off a pre-sale for the device which is going on now. T-Mobile announced that they would offer pre-order access to current T-Mobile customers later in the month, but Best Buy went all in offering their pre-sale to anyone.
The T-Mobile G2 will run you $199 on a new 2 yr. agreement and will be launching on October 6th, according to Best Buy’s announcement. The G2, as we know, comes as the successor to the device that started it all, the T-Mobile G1 and features a unique slide out full-QWERTY keyboard accessible through HTC’s innovative “Z” hinge design. The G2 will also be equipped with Android 2.2 and Qualcomm’s MSM 7230 Snapdragon 800MHz processor with Adreno 205 GPU.
To pre-order your G2, head over to your local Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile standalone store and go ahead and lock on your future beast.
