Sprint’s WiMAX network is official in Gotham along with five other markets. Sprint’s 4G network has been available in certain parts of NYC for a couple of weeks now, but it seems that Sprint has made it all official now as they have flipped the switch lighting up the entire city with 4G goodness. The following cities have made it on Sprint’s most recent press release now enjoying 4G:
- Hartford, CT
- New Haven, CT
- New Brunswick, NJ
- Trenton, NJ
- Tampa, FL
If you live in the above cities, you might want to head over to your local Sprint store and pick up a Samsung Epic 4G or an HTC Evo 4G if you’re looking to get in on the 4G action. Sprint promises other metropolitan cities like San Fran, L.A. and DC will receive 4G before the end of 2010.
