We know that the Android 2.3 (known as Gingerbread) announcement is coming, we just can’t pinpoint when exactly. We’re learning now that Andy Rubin, vice president of engineering, is set to speak at the Dive Into Mobile conference, slated to kick off December 6-7.
After Eric Schmidt’s appearance at the Web 2.0 summit left us empty handed, we’re eager to see what Mr. Rubin has in store for us. Dive Into Mobile has some pretty heavy hitters attending, including Sprint’s Dan Hesse. Mr. Rubin’s segment begins on day one of the event with an evening interview. What do you all think, will we get an official announcement then?
