Just the other day we brought you the files needed to put the New Android Market on your rooted 2.2 device. Thanks to a tipster they have now successfully ported the market to Android 2.1 devices. They have reports of it working perfect on a Samsung Moment and Samsung Fascinate. It should work on all other devices that are currently rooted, running 2.1 and have ClockworkMod. Please feel free to give this modification a try and be sure to thank the guys at xda-developers for their continued efforts to keep us all up to date.
- Download this file HERE
- MAKE A BACKUP!!!
- Put the file on your SD Card
- Boot into recovery and flash the file above
- Reboot
- DONE!
Be sure to do a back up just in case, since there are only 2 devices confirmed working with the new market.
