Being able to charge an Android application to your phone bill is nothing new for T-Mobile customers. We have been able to do that for a quite sometime. Other carriers have been looking into doing the same thing , but have not successfully integrated an option for it yet. Customers will soon be able to enjoy the added benefits of phone bill charging, thanks to Google and AT&T. Â No word on when the update will officially hit your device but I bet it won’t be very long from now.
My only real concern, which was my concern when T-Mobile did it too, is what measures will be put into place to stop an unruly teen from racking up large charges for applications? Does AT&T have an option to prevent that from happening? Let me know if there is, I am really afraid for parents when things like this happen.
Either way this is a win for you AT&T customers out there.
