Thanks to all your recent suggestions for site, we are looking to bring as many of your suggestions forward. I recently received another user submitted quick look app from a very faithful follower, harpocrates23. Take a look at what he had to say about the NewEgg Mobile application.
If you shop online a lot like myself then you probably used or at least know the amazon mobile app. It’s a useful app for checking out products quickly on amazon and purchasing things on the go.
Well recently I was pleasantly surprised when I was browsing one of my favorite online shopping sites and was redirected to download the android mobile app for it. The site, www.newegg.com. If you haven’t heard of it then you have to at least check it out. It is the must go to site when looking for computer related products. They have great deals and now with the mobile app it is easy to check things on the go.
The app allows you to browse the entire stock on your phone and has a search function (has a voice search as well) to find specific items. They also have a barcode scanner which enables you to find items a lot faster. If you find an item that you think a friend could use, you can click share via email, messaging, facebook and more.
You can add items to your wish list or buy directly from the app and then track your orders up until your items are delivered.
The feature the app really needs and I’m hoping will be added in future updates is landscape mode which is useful especially when typing.
