Like the Super AMOLED by Samsung, LG’s NOVA display is advertised as brighter and more vibrant than that of the iPhone’s Retina display. Of course at the moment it’s only being offered on the LG Optimus Black which we have yet to see in the states. Although, whispers flying about suggest that the NOVA display’s current exclusivity may change.
According to the rumors the Korean based company maybe be rolling out an even bigger representation of this new display. The new proposed phone, being referred to as the LG Optimus Big, will be sporting i a 4.3″ screen as opposed to the 4″ being offered on the Optimus Black. At this time is seems that the viewing area is the only thing changing, as the new phone will share most of the hardware the current Optimus does.
This is all speculation of course as LG has not released any official information to support or deny these claims. If this device does see a release it would be nice to see it compete among the others readily available in the states. However these aspirations are more than likely pipe dreams.
