It seems another device has slipped through the cracks. We first saw the Samsung Infuse 4G at CES 2011 and even managed to capture a video of this monster. Sporting a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED plus display and 1.2GHz processor it’s easily the biggest and fastest of Samsung single core devices. One would assume that a beautiful device like this would demand a bit of attention, however it seems to get lost in the plethora of new devices emerging on other carriers.
The newest ad papers being offered by Walmart have the Samsung Infuse 4G listed at $178.88 upon it’s debut in the retail giant’s stores across the nation next month. The unusual thing about this ad is the pricing. As Verizon and AT&T seem to always be the highest in pricing regarding devices and plans you’d figure this new device would be sporting a price similar to that of the new Samsung Droid Charge, however it’s being offered at over $120 less. How could this be? The Infuse has a bigger screen with a better display and a faster processor. Confusing this is. What do you think?
