Sony Ericcson has started rolling out Android 2.3.3 to select markets for the Xperia Arc and Play. This update will bring better battery performance, greater software and Wi-Fi stability, improved touch response and better HD video recording on the Arc.
Along with this update, Sony Ericcson will be bringing deeper Facebook integration from the new Xperia Mini’s.
The Facebook integration is the core and lets users quickly view information and works better with TimeScape. Contacts are also better integrated, with synced friends’ birthdays, for example, put into the handset’s calendar.
Although this is only rolling out to certain markets and builds right now; expect a more wide spread roll-out in the coming weeks.
