After Verizon updated the flagship of their “Droid” line, owners of the other variants were left wondering when their phones would be seeing the same treatment. Although we’ve seen leaks for various Verizon phones, information regarding the specifics, on what devices and time frames were to be expected, are left to the imagination.
If you’re the lucky owner of a Motorola Droid 2 Global it seems that you’re next on the list as your rise to Android 2.3 is well on its way. Beginning this week a select group of people will receiving updates for this phone, and pending review and bug report we could see an update rolling out very soon. On a side note this update is only for the Global version of the Droid 2. No information has been released on whether or not the original Droid 2 Will be receiving an update.
