Today, Samfirmware.com, a site that hosts Samsung mobile device information, as well as stock ROMS for both Android and BADA devices, reported that they have received the Gingerbread Leak for the T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G (T959V). The Firmware is build T959VUVKF1, with a build date of June 7th, 2011.
So far Rooting has been unsuccessful, however, there are devs working on it. One good thing that has come from all of this, is that the GPS Drivers have been ported over to the Vibrant by developer @romanbb, which allows GPS to work on the Gingerbread Ports that have shown up for that device.
