SmartWidget Removes the Need to Hold the Home Key

The more seasoned vets of Android know how crucial multi-tasking can be. Using applications and features in conjunction with each other can help you navigate your device faster and more efficiently.  One of the key tricks of multi-tasking is the use of the home button. If you press and hold your home key, will bring up a list of your most recent apps. It is a nice feature, although not always conducive to productivity.  I have more trouble getting to that screen that it is worth.

There is now a simple solution to this constant problem. Developer RmDroider has taken this simple concept and turned it into an on screen widget. The application is called SmartWidget. This app will monitor your applications and display the most frequently used apps in a single, usable location. Since the app takes and keeps track of your most used applications for you, there won’t be a need to add or rearrange your apps on your home screen anymore. This should help make you life a little easier.
