T-Mobile Moves from Throttling its 200MB to Overage Instead

Well isn’t this a nice, yet frustrating, surprise.  It would appear that T-Mobile is about to make a slight adjustment to it’s lowest data plan available. The 200 MB plan previously would slow your connection down at the 180MB marker to help keep you in line. Now, nothing changes, you will just get a text message that tells you that you are over your 200 MB allotment and overage is occurring.  Coming in at $0.10/MB, you can rack that bill up pretty quick. They do have a max overage limit set at least. I am not sure if they will shut down your connection to internet when you reach the max or proactively offer a data plan change. Hopefully this won’t effect to many people. Those of you that are already sporting this 200 MB feature do so because you don’t need much data anyways, but keep an eye on it.
