Motorola went on a domain shopping spree just a few days ago and picked up a couple website names that all had KORE in their name in some fashion. Of course the rumors began and we all hoped it would be the name of the next big tablet. Some time rumors are true, other times they aren’t. Sadly we, and many, others were slightly off on our game in our prediction.
The Motorola KORE is going to be a Fitness device. It still looks pretty cool and useful for the work out buff. Here is the official trademark filing that finally came through yesterday.

No new tablet just yet guys. Sorry to get your hopes up. Mine were dashed just as much as yours were. I looks a lot like the Sony Ericsson Live view. There is definitely a music player on board and most likely GPS to track your distance traveled. It will be a cool little gadget, but is targeted at a specific group of people. I wonder if Apple will try and shut this product down because it square and resembles a iPod Nano.
