Angry Birds is not only popular because it’s fun but also because it’s addicting – we just can’t see to stop playing on our droids whenever there’s a minute to spare. Ask Your Target Market did a lot of research to try and figure out what makes Angry Birds so addicting. While they found a lot of data and statistics, unfortunately they weren’t able to find a cure besides deleting the game (but it doesn’t stay off the phone for long according to their research).

Thanks Geoff for the awesome information. In addition to Angry Birds being an addiction ( I can’t wait for DR. Drew to get on this), later in AYTM’s research, they also discovered that Android and PC versions of the game that were free, got more downloads then iPhone and iPad users.
