Nemus Camera beta gives you instant manipulation much like the Galaxy Nexus

When the Galaxy Nexus was on stage I was in a constant state of drool. The Aspin team and I were all in a a hangout watching the event together. It was almost like we were all there. So much information was presented and demoed but I remember how stoked we all got when we saw the camera application. The quality was outstanding. What stood out more was the instant effects that you could use to take some pretty crazy photos.

There is actually a camera app on the market right now that can give you that same kind of instant gratification of ‘What you see is what you get.” The Nemus Camera beta app by Nemustech.Kr.Android.

It offers 17 effects currently such as Light Tunnel, Convex, Mirror and Stretch. Some of the effects allow you to manipulate it right on your screen using your finger. Giving you the ability to move a swirl where you want it with out needing to always put it in the middle of shot. It can really give you some fun and interesting photos. Everything you see on the screen is exactly how the photo is taken, giving you the ‘What you see is what you get’ shot.

The application its self isn’t all that large, coming in at 1.4mb in size. It does however require a higher end device to operate properly. Most of the newer tablets are covered so are devices like Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Desire HD but not the Desire, Xperia Arc and so on. There is a fairly short list of devices on the apps description section. Even if your device isn’t listed, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. The App is FREE so you have nothing to lose by installing and giving it a test, worst that can happen is it won’t work.
