Here we are again, with yet another rumored release date for the Galaxy Nexus, the years most talked about device that Verizon has been anything other than willing to share any information about, other than it’s coming soon. Gee. Thanks, Big Red.
The latest rumored date we can add to the list comes to us from an internal Best Buy inventory screenshot that was submitted to Engadget anonymously.
According to the photo above, the SCH-i515 will be hitting the stock room on December 11th; however, there’s an important date that is nowhere to be found on the inventory page — the G-Nex’s street date. This means the phone could launch on the 11th, though there’s still nothing official in terms of an announcement from Verizon or Best Buy. Of course, the closer we get to the 8th without a pre-order page going live, the less likely next Thursday is looking to be the day we’ve all been waiting for.
This whole delay is making Verizon look a bit foolish (for now). They better hope this phone lives up to the hype. Otherwise, they’ll likely never hear the end of it.
