A one-click root method is now available for the Asus Transformer Prime. Of course, there aren’t any custom ROMs for the super tablet just yet, but at least you’ll be able to take advantage of the many Android apps that need root privileges. If you’d like to join in the fun, you’ll want to head over to Androidroot.mobi and grab the Razorclaw app. Install the apk file, just like you’d do with any other application, run it and watch it make the magic happen.
It’s important to remember, there is no custom recovery available just yet either, so tread lightly. I’m sure it wont be long before there is one, but bricking your newly acquired tablet and having to wait for a fix is the last thing you’re going to want to do.
