Verizon has released an update for the HTC Thunderbolt, bringing the software version up to 2.11.605.9. Don’t get your hopes up though, folks — it’s still not Ice Cream Sandwich. However, this is an updated version of Gingerbread that Verizon is hoping will give you T-Bolt owners a better overall experience. After installing the update, users should experience improvements to contact ringtones, notification volume, and local streaming playback.
