Yet another HUGE update rolling out to Droid Bionic users, no changelog in Sight

Exactly one week ago we found out that Motorola was finally releasing the biggest update we have ever seen to the Droid Bionic. Aiming to fix a large number of issues that users were plagued with. I am sure that many of you were very excited and pleased to finally get that update. I am sure many of you might still be waiting on it though, since updates take some time to get to all devices. The build number on that update was 5.5.893.

Now it seems that some forum members on AndroidCommunity are reporting another update is arriving on their devices. This build number is substantially larger so it is not just a simple little incremental update. The latest system number is sporting 5.9.901. That’s a pretty big jump in builds. The total download file is 56MBs. Other than installing a number of wondrous bloatware apps, the rest of what has been changed, added or fixed  is still a mystery. Both Motorola and Verizon seem to be pretty tight-lipped about it. Maybe they are afraid of the backlash of fixes that should have been fixed in the first update. Who knows. Either way, if you happen to find the changelog lying around somewhere please shit it over so we can let everyone know what it is all about.

On a side not though. The guys over at Droid-Life have the update file available for you to snag if you just hate to wait. It is likely that the update will break root unless you perm-root. Which most of you probably have. Other wise you can hold off and see what the devs do with the update and get the new additions via your favorite dev.
