Anyone that has been following along in the either the
HTC Sensation XE or Sensation forums at XDA has been seeing a good about of word done in the ICS depart lately. The most notable team to bring much of it to both devices has been the RCTeam. They managed to get their hands on a leaked Sensation XE RUU of
Ice Cream Sandwich. That was only a few days ago and they, as well as other devs, have been using it to port over builds to the original
Sensation. So far that has been pretty good. Our developers are masters of their craft. That doesn’t mean an official RUU for the original Sensation wouldn’t help the progress along.
The good is that an official leak of the Sensation RUU has been picked up and as now available for those in the world of development. Of course the leaked RUU is still considered pre-release status and it has a higher chance of having bugs. If HTC has the ground work laid down, it shouldn’t take long for a dev to start straightening things out. It is not recommend that the average user snags it up and flashes away though.
