The
Samsung Replenish is easily one of those odd-looking devices that made its way to
Sprint. Offering the users a 2.8-inch a mild 2MP camera Wi-Fi, GPS, multiple colors and an optional solar door charging accessory. Aimed at the eco-friendly users and giving it sort of a Blackberry look makes it an oddity in the world of Android. The device was launched back in May as far as I can remember and I haven’t seen it in the news since. For those of yu that picked one up for the low price it was offered for will be happy to know that you will see an update pop up on your device today.
The update starts rolling out now, and may take a few weeks for it to hit all devices. You will be graciously moved from Froy 2.2 up to the mor popular Gingerbread 2.3. The rest of the list is relatively small though –
- Increased Operating System (OS) speed and efficiency
- One-touch word selection and copy/paste
- Improved power management
- Downloads Management
- SMS Messaging fix
If you have a Replenish, let us know how the update went and if you notice any speed or battery improvements on your device.
