AT&T launches Pantech Element tablet with option for bundle with the Burst

While we were in Vegas we had a few minutes with Pantech‘s latest entry’s into the Android community. They were bringing two new devices to AT&T this quarter that they were very proud of, the Pantech Element and the Pantech Burst. The Element is a tablet that was announced during AT&Ts press conference and is aimed to be the first 4G tablet on the network. The tablet is no slouch either. It has an 8-inch display at a resolution of 1024 X 768, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB internal memory, microSD slot and 1GB of RAM. You can also expect some great battery life, too. The Element is housing a 6400mAh battery with 25 days of standby time and up to 12 hours continuous use. Along with the 4G speeds, the Element is designed to with stand your life and is waterproof for those times you want to hang out in the tub or survive those freak rain storms. The element is available now on a new contract for only $299.99. If you are an anti-contract type of person though, you are looking to drop $449.99.

In an effort to connect your life to your friends, family and to your tablet, Pantech and AT&T have a second device ready and willing for you. The Pantech Burst is also currently available from AT&T. Another 4G device with a few surprising specs as well. Sporting Android 2.3, Pantech’s not overly encroaching UI for staying connected easily. The Burst has 16GB internal storage and the usual external microSD card slot. Rocking a 1.2 GHz dual-core Scorpion CPU, 5MP camera with flash and 720p HD video capture. We also had a few minutes of hands on time with this device in bother colors, black or red. It moved pretty fast and the UI wasn’t an over the top hindrance to the Android experience. The Burst is also available now for $49.99 on a new contract or $399.99 out right.

Where AT&T and Pantech are making these devices really shine is the bundle deal they are offering. If you were to buy both devices separately on contracts, you would be spending $350. With the bundle deal you can snag a new phone and tablet on contract for $249.99. A savings of $100 when purchased at the same time. I don’t think you can get a better deal anywhere else at the moment.

If you are interested in more information, you can head over to AT&T to look closer at the Burst and the Element.
