Tegra 3 targeted to receive FlatOut: Stuntman game from Team6

I remember sitting for hours playing the first and second Flatout games. The concept and game play was pretty simple originally. Crash your car and cause damage. There was a racing mode of course, but it never seemed as much fun and fling down a deserted road into cross traffic. The wrecks were awesome, the expositions were cool and the fact that your crashes went into slow motion was a kick. One of the mini games that Flatout brought to use crazy drivers was a stuntman mode. Again, you would be crashing your car, but this time it would eject the driver through the front windshield and hurl hit through the air. The goal, to either send him through window panes in a pattern, see how far you can make him go, see how many bones you can break or aim his head at a target. All in all it is a great set of games for utter destruction and mayhem.

To make our lives a little more fun while on the go, Team6 is looking to bring the stuntman portion of the game out into the Android world. Title simply Flatout: Stuntman. As Company CEO Ronnie Nelis, has recently revealed –

When we were doing concept art for the levels we had in mind, we suddenly realized that there is not a single game we can think of that’s more fun to develop than ‘FlatOut: Stuntman’. It’s the pure essence, it has all the ingredients, of what the perfect video game should be made of: The gameplay is entirely based upon very short levels but each of them highly addictive with a replay-value like no other game. The visuals we were able to achieve on Tegra 3 are truly unbelievable and meanwhile our level design assured that gamers will be pleasantly surprised or even shocked by the possibilities in gameplay and content: There is nothing left for us to wish for what a great game should include.

The quad-core powerhouse know as the Tegra 3 seems to be the target processor currently. Which doesn’t surprise us a whole lot. With all that power it should be pretty easy to make this mobile version amazing. We highly doubt Team6 will be satisfied with just a T3 launch though. The processor is only in one officially available device at the moment, Transformer Prime, it wouldn’t make much sense to put that much work and man power into a single device app. I bet they work it backwards and get to Tegra 2 and then other devices slowly.

Here is a quick preview of the some of the action from FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction. You will see clips of the stuntman aspect that will be out soon.
