Chrome Browser hits Android without Adobe Flash support, it isn’t coming Either

Many of you lucky kids that either have official build of Ice Cream Sandwich or one of the various ROMs floating around built on it, have already picked up the Chrome beta web browser. Judging from comments on other sites, twitter and G+, people are really loving it. One thing is missing though, Flash support. you can complain all you want, but Flash support just won’t be making its way to the new fancy browser anytime soon. Android was lucky enough to get an update to Flash after the launch of ICS and they have no plans to do any work for the new browser from Google. Adobe suggests that if you need Flash content then you should open the page up in the default browser or another browser that has support.

Adobe will continue to move forward with Google with HTML5 and other members of the Web community. So it isn’t a total lost cause, they are moving forward, just in new directions that won’t necessarily require a separate app install in order to function well.

Were any of you surprised to hear this news?
