HTC Announces the Official Sense 4.0 Skin with Improved Camera and Dropbox Integration

It is official my Android frineds. Sense is now “officially” updated to 4.0, which HTC announced at MWC today. Probably not a lot of you are excited about the skin they will slap over beautiful stock Ice Cream Sandwich, but out of all the skins, Sense would be my skin of choice. Only if I HAD to choose one of the three and not go with stock.

Looks like HTC wants to jazz up their beloved skin, by improving the camera and adding Dropbox integration to it. They want users to achieve “perfect shots”, by introducing “ImageSense”. If you thought the Galaxy Nexus camera was fast, they want to pull off 0.7 seconds speed with 0.2 seconds auto focus. CEO Peter Chou also mentioned that ImageSense technology will deliver good results even in very low light conditions and determine how far away the subject is. it then will adjust the brightness of the LED flash for the right length. HTC also put some steroids into HDR mode to make the HTC One X out do the iPhone 4S.

Camera not selling you on these new HTC One phones, then how about two years of free Dropbox service with 25 GBs? Not to shabby huh? One phone will be able to access 25 GBs, so HTC is definitely pulling out some big guns here.

Another feature they are adding is a 3 finger swipe system to give users the ability to send video to newly announced Media Link TV dongle. This will allow users to stream video. Beats audio will be thrown into the software as well, so any music, app, or game will blow your ears out.

So even though a lot of us die-hard Android geeks hate skins on top of stock, sounds like HTC wants sway us the other direction. What do you guys think? Give this newly modified Sense a try with the HTC on phones?
