Good golly, miss Molly! Looky what the rumor mill has dropped in our laps this morning, good ladies and gentlemen of the Android community. Thanks to a claim from ZDNet Korea, an April launch date has been confirmed for the Samsung Galaxy S III, by Cheil Worldwide, Samsung’s marketing and advertising agency. Apparently, the firm has been plotting a massive campaign in the UK, which will be one of the initial launch markets for the highly anticipated sequel to the Samsung Galaxy S II. Additionally, there’s talk of major incorporation of this year’s Summer Olympics with the ad campaign, so if there’s any truth to this rumor, it should be quite an interesting summer.
For those who haven’t already heard, the SGS III will come rocking Ice Cream Sandwich on a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, with an 8MP camera and 4.8-inch 1080p high-definition display. The device also boasts 4G LTE capability and a ceramic casing for extra protection.
This just might be my next phone, folks!
