Chrome for Android updates with 31 languages, desktop view and Downloading

The entire Android world stop in its tracks when Google finally released Chrome for our devices. It was released as a beta, and will most likely stay in that status for a very long time. Take a look at their Navigation app, still in beta after all these years. The Google team has no intention of just dropping the browser though. They continually plug away at solving issues, adding features and making the user experience better and better.

Just today Google dropped an update for Chrome Beta that solved some issues and added some new stuff. Users can now request desktop view pages, ability to add bookmarks to your homescreeen, assign links to open in other apps like Google Maps and utilize a proxy setup for Wi-Fi access. In addition to these much-needed features, they have also make downloading to your device through the browser to work. I personally haven’t used Chrome Beta for a while, so I was never aware of that annoyance.
