ASUS just keeps pushing to make their tablet owners the happiest customer son earth. While many people out there are still waiting for updates to fix basic issues from last year, ASUS is tossing out another update for the
Transformer TF-101. I lost count of how many this is just this year. The latest build moves you to 9.2.1.21. The only thing that we always have issues with is finding out what the heck the update does. The forums are stating a WiFi Direct setting for peer-to-peer networking and an “Always request desktop site” setting for the browser. Mimicx10 also pointed out it added support forÂ
devicetracker.asus.com. Which lets you track and lock your tablet remotely. I’m not a Transformer owner or specialist, but that seems like it is new. There are also the usual fixes and improvements included:
OFFICIAL ASUS RELEASE NOTES:
Improves system stability
Improves email stability
Improves AppBackup App
Improves MyLibrary stability
Supports Wi-Fi Direct
Supports unzip in File Manager
Add restore tab function in Browser
If you havent’ checked for your update yet, you should give it a go. I won’t bore you with how to do it as I am sure you already know. Have at it and let us know howit works out for you.
