I know many of you are constantly on the hunt for update information your current device. We all want to know if and when
Ice Cream Sandwich will be hitting our devices. It seems Samsung is doing everything they can to make those updates happen on a wide variety of carriers. They work closely with Google and the carriers that sell their devices to do what they can to make an update to your device. We know that doesn’t always pan out, but Samsung has plans in the works for at least four of their devices on T-Mobiles network. The
Galaxy S II is definitely on the list. They also have the Galaxy S Blaze 4G listed as well. Not to mention updates in the works for the
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Tab 10.1.
While it is great to hear that Samsung has every intention of making an update to these devices, we still have to wait and worry about T-Mobile. Will they accept the updates and push them out in a timely fashion? Will there be issues and have to puch it back like they did with the Sensation update? It is anybody’s guess as to when these updates will finally make an appearance on your device. We will keep our eyes open for specific dates as they become available, hopefully they start appearing in the next month or two though. Be sure to hit the source to see the current list for T-Mobile and all other US carriers.
