Apple still at it, looking for injunction on Samsung Galaxy S III this Time

If you can’t beat em, sue the crap out of them and try to stop their products from being sold. At least I think that is Apple’s new slogan, it should be. After the whole HTC ordeal and U.S. customs having to get involved, Apple keeps pressing forward. Back in December they attempted to get a preliminary injunction against a plethora of Samsung devices. The judge at the time denied them the request and business as usual continued on. Six months later, Apple is requesting another injunction, aiming its sights the new Galaxy S III.

Apple is claiming the device infringes on the same “data tapping” patent that they accused HTC and Motorola of doing. The whole long-press action dialog menu for URL’s. To add some more fuel to the fire, they are also pointing a violation of a ‘unified search’ patent. Sounds like a lot of fun doesn’t it? We doubt much will come from the filing, but one never knows anymore. We just wish Apple would focus all those billions of dollars to do something good in the world instead of waste it in court and on legal fees.
