Vizio Co-Star
If you were looking at getting a Google TV box, look no further. The Vizio Co-Star is up for preorder, and just like the rest of the Google TV’s, it’s only $100. But it’s everything that isn’t like the rest of the Google TV’s that makes it worth it.
Like most, it comes with 1080p support to get the most out of your HDTV. If you have a 3D TV, the Co-Star supports 3D as well. But the real kicker, is that it has On-Live baked in. On-Live is a game streaming service that allows you to play triple-A games without triple-A hardware. All you need is a decent internet connection and a subscription fee and bam, you’re playing games like Assassin’s Creed or Batman Arkham Asylum on your TV without a X-Box 360 or PS3
Vizio came onto the scene a few years ago and shook up the TV market with its low-end price but high-end quality sets. I personally only use Vizio TV’s and love them. The remote that comes with the Co-Star will completely replace your Vizio TV remote, allowing you to control both with the same remote.
So if you’re looking for a high quality Google TV for a low-end price, check out the Vizio Co-Star for $100 as opposed to the $300 Nexus Q that has fewer features and a bigger price.
