The highly loved, and highly useful Google Now received a nice little update today. The update includes more of the cards we love seeing every time we open it. Those cards being movie times, and public emergency alerts. I guess if you have a specific day where you go to the movies, Google Now will recognize that day, as well as recognize that you are in the area of your local theater, and show you the movie times for that theater. Emergency alerts have been added to the mix as well, so when those flash floods are in the near, when the city you live in freaks out over a little rain (SoCal), you will be given a card of alert.
Another function they added which I am glad for, is the fact that you can now add your favorite teams to follow on Google Now. Before, at least on my phone, it wouldn’t show me the score of my team the Giants even though I would constantly ask the it. So much for getting to know me, huh? Anyways, now you can manually input your team so you can see the score when you open up Google Now.
So if you are rockin Jelly Bean, get into the Play Store and update your Google Now.
