Gameloft shares behind the scenes of Real Football 2013, most immersive experience Yet

Football to most of the world is called soccer here in the U.S. In all honesty, we should call it Football too, and change our Football to passball or something. Seriously, the name Football makes more sense for soccer since you run around kicking a ball. Back to the topic though. Many of you love the Real Football, or Real Soccer in the U.S., franchise from Gameloft. Offering up a soccer game with all of the features you would find in a SIM.

Gameloft is hard at work to create a whole new experience with Real Football 2013. This will be their 10th edition of the game. Who knew it has been around that long? They are really looking to make it bigger and better than ever. They have redone the graphics and animations. Revamped the stadiums and tossed in more management controls then you have ever seen in previous versions.

A new game mode will allow you to manage your team off the field. You can train your players, build structures like hospitals and hire Doctors.  You can manage your stadium and build new ones and build casinos and much more to help generate money. I would almost equate this to Pocket League Story in a way. Where you manage not only your team, but the area around your team’s home stadium. Of course Real Football 2013 will have way better graphics, you actually get to play in the game and will be a little more immersive.

Take a quick watch from Gamelofts Dev Diary.

The game will be free-to-play just like it has been in the past. That of course means there will be a certain degree of in-app purchases that one can make to improve their gameplay experience. This is great for some and a bit annoying to others. Gameloft hasn’t yet made an announcement as to when the game will be launched, they just say ‘coming soon.’ Seems everything is always coming soon. Are you excited, or do you prefer FIFA or PES?
