Shadowgun: Deadzone Beta opens to ALL Android devices (3.0+) in today’s massive Update

We have been keeping a pretty close eye on Shadowgun: Deadzone since it was finally released to the Play Store. At that time though, it was limited to Tegra 3 only devices for beta testing. Today we are very pleased to announce that Shadowgun: Deadzone is no longer limited to Tegra 3 sporting devices. That’s right. Now nearly any device sporting Android 3.0 and up will be able to get in on some fast pasted first person shooting death matches and various other game modes.

Today’s update not only gave the rest of the Android world the access to the game, but it also brought a whole bunch of new additions to the game. Only those that have been playing since its first release will notice these though. Check out the full list of additions.

The new Open Beta version includes:
* Four playable characters (Soldier, Mutant, Assassin, Dancer)
* Two Game Modes (DeathMatch and ZoneControl)
* Two Maps (Core and Invasion)
* Introducing Research system (you can use a research to make weapons, items and perks) NEW!
* Introducing Ranks NEW!
* Protection for the beginners (players with RANKS 1-3). They are connecting to the isolated servers NEW!
* You can make money by playing the game NEW!
* You can now collect experience points (XP) and level up NEW!
* New Weapons available (Atilla, Agony, Warmoger, etc.) NEW!
* New Gadgets available (Detector, Jammer, FlashBang) NEW!
* Player Perks NEW!
* Equip Enhancements NEW!

That is a pretty hefty list of goodies if you as me. I know I already went and installed it on my Galaxy S III and played through one Death Match game just to see how it played. I must say, it played great. Managed to take out 9 opponents and only be killed 11 times. ranked number 4 for the round. I have never been very good at going up against real people in these games.

If you have been waiting impatiently to finally get your hands on this game like I have, then please click or scan the QR code below and pick it up today. One final word from Madfinger

As noted before, the intent of the Open Beta is to polish network code and the basic gameplay experience, as well as to resolve bugs.  Please understand that as this is a Beta version, some features and content are missing. Also, we do apologize because we are operating on a limited number of servers at this moment, so you might have longer wait times in the queue than will be expected at launch.
