“Say hello to my little friend!” Scarface makes an appearance in the Play Store, Facebook Required

You know you love the line, you know you love the movie and you know you wish you could have been Tony Montana. At least to a certain degree anyways. Well if building your mafia empire from the ground up, then the new Scarface Multiplayer game from Fuse Powered Inc. is sure to be loaded to your device.

“In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.” –Tony Montana.

Ya, that is another great quote from the movie. The game is based on the original film. It has a massive multiplayer aspect where you will be able to rob real players from around the world in the game. Add friends to your mafia to build up your stats and custom build your empire based on the businesses you choose to own. The game features more than 96 missions and you get take Tony from the streets to the top of the criminal empire. You will be able to arm yourself with dozens of various weapons and explore six different locations. Heck, they even added in authentic voices, images and Tony’s famous quotes. The screenshots seem rather good and we can imagine that the game is quite fun.

There is a downside that prevented us from playing it though. At first launch it prompted for Facebook login. Pressing back exited the game and there is apparently no way around playing without linking it to your Facebook account. While we can understand why developers and partners would want to integrate Facebook, being forced to connect it and sign in with your FB account to even play the game is a bit much. Quite a lot of you guys don’t even have Facebook anymore, which makes playing the game impossible. I wish I could give you a brief gameplay experience, but being forced to login via Facebook I couldn’t even bring myself to sign in and try it.

AndroidHeadlines is reporting that the full MMO features of the game aren’t currently fully functional, but they will be soon.

If the forced Facebook login doesn’t bother you any, then by all means pick it up and give it a shot. You can click or scan the usual QR code below and load it up. It is rather large, weighing in at 43MB’s, be prepared with some Wi-Fi before hand.
