Beautiful Widgets 5.0 goes live; Brings Jelly Bean support, Daydream and Lockscreen Widgets Too

The long-awaited Beautiful Widget 5.0 update from LevelUp Studio is finally available for all to download in the Play Store. It is an update to the original app, so no worries about buying it all over again. The latest 5.0 release is a complete overhaul of the old version and was completely rewritten from the ground up. It brings in support for Jelly Bean sporting devices along with Daydream support and new lockscreen widgets too. While JB support is great, we are personally a bit more excited about the all new Theme Store. Laying out all the various themes that are available in an easy to use layout. You can see some themes that are showcased, check out all the themes available and all the themes you have downloaded.

This update also moves away from a full weather and clock combo. Offering up just weather or just a clock. You can even add multiple location’s for time and weather on one screen. It really is a totally new application and a completely new experience. Check out a short video of it in action below.

Looks pretty beautiful right? David Pena has been playing around with the beta for quite a while, nearly two months now. We will be sure to get him to get his thoughts about the new official release up shortly. Take a gander at a few of their screenshots though. It really is a totally new app in nearly every way.

Let us know what you think of the new release. After playing about for a couple of minutes with it, I can already tell it will take a little time to get used to form the old version. So far though, I am personally liking it.
