Planning our trip to CES this year, we had to make sure we had plenty of extra battery power. Stormy came prepared with something like 12,000 mah of battery power back up, and I came with my PowerSkin. Not too smart on my behalf. Naturally I had to borrow one of his monster battery packs just so I could get through the day. They did have charging stations on the floor, by no one wants to stop and charge for an hour or so, with so many gadgets to play with on the floor. A lot of these battery packs will give you maybe 4-8 charges, but how about getting 14 charges with just one battery pack.
Nectar Mobile Power System caught our eyes at CES, simply because battery power is always an issue in the mobile world. The biggest portable battery charger we had, was 12,000 mah of power. Nectar Power System has 55,000 mah of power. Yeah that is a lot of power. They told us you can get at least fourteen full charges to our phones, and it can power up tablets, laptops, and cameras. What is unique about Nectar is that it uses butane as its fuel supply. Similar to cigarette lighters in cars, Nectar comes equipped with these butane Nectar Power Pods that are interchangeable. So that means no plugging the power system into a power outlet. If you have more than one of these power pods, you are set. Perfectly safe, recyclable plastic that you can even bring on a plane without getting felt up by the TSA.
Now the initial charging pack will run you $300. Sounds pretty steep, but with your first order you get one power pod and additional power pods are only $10 a pop. Not bad at all if you are one of those that does a great deal of travelling for work. You can pre-order a Nectar Power System now by hitting the link below the video.
