It is PoP’n and it is an external battery with suction cups on the back. Kind of like the Octopus that they use for their logo. It is a 2,000 mAh battery backup that can be taken anywhere at any time. It has a small ‘U’ shaped plug that connects to the battery and then to your phone. Hit the power button for 2 seconds and you are charging. When you get what you need out of it, simply take it back off. It looks like it is designed to fit on the back on just about any smartphone on the market even with a different case on your device as long as a cup or two can stick to a flat spot.
The only thing I can’t tell in any of the product images or videos is the specific plug it uses on the battery. It looks to small for a standard USB port, so chances of using a small cord looks to be out of the question. That keeps this products additional device uses limited. Simply because many devices have charging ports on the side or top of the device and not in the bottom center. PowerSkin does offer up a list of compatible devices though.
