Following recent rumors that the HTC One will be delayed due to camera issues, HTC has extended the $100 trade-up program through April 26th. Of course, they are not saying that is the reason. They are loving the positive response people are giving about the One, and to show their appreciation, they are extending the date. It was originally set to end on March 31st, but now we all get another month to make a decision to trade-in our old phone for a $100 dollar prepaid visa card, or a card that is the value of the phone you are trading in. I would think only a GSIII would be greater in value. Do not think my One S would be worth more than $100. Here is what HTC had to say:
HTC is thrilled with the positive response we have received to our $100 trade-up offer, and as such we are extending the offer for customers who purchase The new HTC One by 4/26 and trade in their old device by 5/31. We are pleased to bring this offer to even more customers so they can upgrade to The new HTC One at an amazing price.
Let us know if you are planning on trading in your phone for an HTC One.
