It’s the day after the Galaxy S4 announcement and the web has been divided. Some loved the device, others (HTC) hated it and called it the “Next Big Flop”, and some are just waiting for the updates to hit the S3/Note II. Today Qualcomm confirmed that the US variant of the Galaxy S4 will be powered by their Snapdragon 600 series processor. It is clocked at 1.9 GHz and will feature an Adreno 320 GPU. The international variant is going to feature Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa (5410) processor clocking in at 1.6 GHz along with the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. Some European countries with an active LTE network will also be getting the Snapdragon variant of the S4 first and then the Octa variant later on. Begging the question, will people snag the first version with the quad-core processor or hold out until the Exynos Octa version is available.
With such powerful processors powering the Galaxy S4 which one would you buy? Let me know in the comments below.
