The HTC One is a beautiful piece of technology. Why would you pull it apart?! That is what iFixit loves to do though, and now you get to see the HTC One torn apart like it is a bad mobile horror movie. ifixit does these dissections to check a devices repairability report. The One failed miserably.
While attempting to remove the back cover, ifixit said that trying to do so was extremely difficult without causing damage to it. Of course the battery is non-removable, so its tuck tightly up against the motherboard. They also mention that the only way you would be able to replace the screen of the device is you would have to go through the back cover. Not a somewhat simple process like it is with other phones. ifixit did say they were really impressed with the overal design, but sadly, it still failed pretty bad in the repairability report. Check out the pictures, but please make sure your children are not in the same room. They are SO graphic and heartbreaking.
