Google Babel has already gotten a couple of screenshots supposedly leaked, as well as a slight name change, and now we are getting more reports about when we will see this highly anticipated messaging service.
A source that works close with the engineers of Google Babel, reported that the messaging service will be integrated with the upcoming Key Lime Pie Android 5.0 OS. Makes sense that the next generation of Android software would get this new service, but do not think that you can only use it on Android 5.0. Seems that the app will be made available for those on Android 2.3 and above. A sigh of relief washes over us.
This actually just confirms the notion that Google Babel will be unveiled at Google I/O in May. Hopefully an apk will be pulled from the system dump that same day, so all of us can start messaging the crap out of each other. It will be a happy day. Let us know what you guys think.
