Libon releases Android version of its VoIP App

Libon App
While our lovely iOS friends have enjoyed the delights of Libon for some time now, Orange Vallée has finally made good on its promise and released an Android version of its VoIP app to Google Play.

Libon allows users to make free calls, send messages and even read voicemail over wifi and mobile data. It joins a hotly contested VoIP race which includes some guys called Whatsapp and Viber. But according to Google Play, Libon has already racked up 500,000 to 1,000,000 downloads in about a day, which is not bad at all.

The feature that interests me the most are the “smart” voicemails, which allow you to read the contents of the message, though I wonder how accurate it is.

Does Libon interest you or are you happy with another VoIP client? Let us know in the comments if you pick it up.
