Looks like HTC is planning on bringing their BoomSound to a mid-ranged device. The HTC 606w has been spotted in the wild, and the specs have also been leaked out as well.
The HTC 606w will be rocking a 1.2 Ghz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, 4.5-inch display, and it will be running Android 4.1.2. Pretty mid-ranged, even though it will have a quad-core processor, and you can bet that this will be a budget friendly phone. Glad to see the front-facing speakers on this phone. HTC should put those on all new devices, even the mid-ranged ones.
Some might speculate that this was the rumored M4 that we kept hearing about. Apparently it is not the M4, but any more details come about, we will let you know.
