Acer Android Smartphone All Set For Release

 

Acer, known to most of you as a manufacturer of computers, laptops and netbooks is all set to release their news Android Based Smartphone.  News has been going around for a while now about the Acer Android Smartphone but the device is apparently ready for prime time. Acer already has a small selection of Windows Mobile handsets and is all set to release more models in the near future.

 

The newest addition to the line up is the companies first entry into the Android Handset arena with a phone that on paper is a very capable device, The Acer Liquid A1.

 

The specifications floating around the internet include a 1GHz Processor, a 3.5 inch WVGA Touchscreen Display, 5 Megapixel Camera, aGPS, and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack.

 

Acer does not intend to flood the market with hundreds of devices but  instead will concentrating on releasing 8-10 devices.
